            Quick Summary: TM Player is built as a 100% offline audio and video player. We do NOT collect, store, sell, or upload your personal media files, audio tracks, videos, or contacts to any external servers. Your files stay strictly on your device.
        

1. Information We Access and How It Is Used

TM Player requires certain device permissions solely to provide media player functionality:

Read Media / Device Storage Permissions:
READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (for Android 12 and below).
Purpose: To scan, organize, and play audio and video files stored locally on your device.
Foreground Service Permission:
FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK.
Purpose: Allows continuous background audio playback while using other apps or with the screen turned off, with interactive lock screen controls.
Picture-in-Picture (PiP):
Allows seamless floating window playback while you multitask.

2. Data Collection & Third-Party Advertising

The core app does not collect personal user data. However, the app may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob:

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): May collect pseudonymous device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), general IP address for geographic region matching, and diagnostic crash analytics to deliver and measure advertisements in accordance with Google's policies.

3. Data Storage & Security

All app preferences (equalizer presets, playlists, playback position, favorite tracks, and sleep timer settings) are stored locally on your device using high-speed encrypted local key-value storage (MMKV). We do not operate external login servers or user accounts.

4. Children's Privacy

TM Player does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The app is rated PEGI 3 / Everyone and serves strictly as an offline utility.
